"2000" is a collection of handbags was inspired by self reflections and change. 2000 is the year that I was born and I wanted to play with every aspect that makes me, me. The shaping and details of these handbags include my initials, D M and E. The use of materials such as Clear vinyl and textured snakeskin represents my personality. A very kind person but rough to get through. The clear vinyl symbolizes how I want to change in that aspect. Being opaque, allowing people to really see and understand the real me.
